    Charlene,

Sorry to take so long to reply. Have you tried Knitting Meetup.com? They may have a Kits meeting. For awhile the meeting was moving around downtown and Kits. Not sure if it has settled but it is a place to start. Our guold meeting at Oakridge is not that far from Kits but me meet only once a month. A Touch of Wool on Dunbar may have a daytime drop-in.

Also, try the Kits Community Centre. They may have info on a knitting group. Ashamed to say that I live in Kits and am not aware of the knitting gatherings, but with my work hours it is all I can do to get to the once-a-month WCKG meetings.

I was wondering…..is there a West Coast Needlearts Show somewhere on the Canadian West Coast I don’t know about? I have found knitting shows throughout the US and one in Toronto in April but would like to attend something closer. And if there isn’t, might I ask why there isn’t one? There seem to be enough knitters on this coast and it would be wonderful for us to have our own show. thanks

I live in the Cloverdale/ Langley area and would like to know if a group of knitters meet in this erea on a more or less regular basis. I hear about several groups meeting in the Vancouver area, but as I work in Vancouver I would rather not drive over the bridge to a knitters group.

Hi :) Busy working mom of 3 wanting to learn the craft of knitting. Is there anything in or close to the Langley area? I am as “beginner” as they come. Thanks!

I have inherited a circular knitting machine. Is there anyone in the Vancouver/tri-city area who could get me started with setting this up and making it work?

  38. on 17 Dec 2012 at 7:32 am Sandra van de nes

I used to have a knitting machine studio/store and have been away from it (but kept my yarns and tools) for over 25 years, and now that I am back (near Ottawa), sick with Lyme Disease, would love to find a Brother 260 with ribber. Anyone knows of one? I can’t go outside due to my treatment and having a knitting machine in home is kind of a life saver for me…back to my early passion! Thanks in advance for anyone’s help!
