Leaf Lace Shawl
This was the first item that I knit with my own handspun yarn. Theyarn was spun from Finn Fleece and was originally white. Aiming for atan colour, I dyed the spun skeins with tea, but it turned out to beetoo orange. It went back into the dye pot with blue Kool Aid andEaster egg dye pellets, turning the yarn shades of olive and green,perfect for a leaf lace shawl. I added the crystal beads here andthere, hoping that they would look like dew drops on the leaves.
