Sarah's Wedding Shawl
This shawl was knit for my daughter-in-law Sarah to wear on herwedding day. It is knit with Suri Elegance, a 100% alpaca yarn thatis lustrous and has lovely drape. Sarah chose several lace patternsfrom the Barbara Walker Treasuries and I swatched them all. We tookthe swatches to her first dress fitting and picked the one that bestcomplemented the dress. The lace in the centre panel is calledDayflower and is one of my favourites. The border was knit on aftercompeting the centre panel.
