Faroese Lace Shawl - a Sivia Design
My first lace shawl, this felt like doing a Mensa crossword puzzle sometimes. But once I gave it the concentration it deserved, it was very satisfying to knit. And the finished product is so scrumptious. The yarn is Alpaca/Silk from Elann; I bought a beautiful peridot colour and then danced a bit of dye over it, in a slightly deeper version of the same colour in order to give it more dimension. Sivia, I don't know how you design these things - you're a wizard! I love this thing!
