Knitted miniature village deemed “health hazard” by local children’s hospital

The local Women’s Institute in Devon, England spent a year knitting an entire miniature village, which they intended to donate to the local children’s hospital.  When it was rejected by the hospital as a “health hazard”, they tried to donate it to other organizations, but without success.  Undaunted, they are now going to send it to an orphanage in South Africa, where it will find a welcome home.  To read more about it, click here.
