Lorna's socks Lorna B showed her Cat Bordi Flow Motion Socks from Vogue Knitting Fall 2006. This toe up sock starts with a provisional cast on instead of a gusset on either side of the heel. The sock has a gusset on top of the instep in a lace pattern. Cat Bordi has a forthcoming book “Knitting Around the Foot. New Directions with other sock variations. She altered the pattern by knitting the second sock from a figure 8 cast on so that no grafting is required. She also ended the leg top in a picot point bind off instead of a picot of edging.

Knit Lite knitting needles Linda H brought in her glow in the dark knitting needles that she bought from Urban Yarns. From the Internet she read about a woman that liked to go to movies & she wanted to knit. A friends husband who is a engineer said he could design them . So we have glow in the dark knitting needles.

Crochet necklace Carole S showed her crochet beaded flower pins, also her crochet necklaces in daisy chain.

Angela H was knitting a glove from a Traditional Seldu pattern. She was test knitting for a friend in Seattle who is writing a book on these gloves. She was using Norweigan Rauma yarn.

I just wanted to let you know that this is the best website I have ever come across. Congratulations to everyone who is involved.
It seems that I am only knitting scarves. I have promised so many people to make one for them. I will do them as promised, so I can start new projects.
I am glad I joined your club and I look forward to knit with you for a long time. Thank you all so very much.
    Christiane Cousins.
