Being a Librarian in the Burnaby Public Library system allows me to peruse the new books before others.
I thought you would like to know what kinds of books have been added to the Burnaby collection in 2006.
If there is a specific book you would like your library to buy just talk to the librarian at the Information Desk and they will tell you if your library takes book requests from patrons.
This is a great list of books to sign out of the library. Big Girl Knits even has designs by two of our Guild members: Sivia Harding and Michelle Katerberg. Good work!
awhile ago i put in a request at bpl for “stephanie pearl mcphee casts off”. not sure how long it’s going to take them to get it- it’s already been 2 or 3 months.
i got sick of waiting and bought a copy of it for myself, but for anyone else who doesn’t mind waiting for it, it should hopefully be there soon.
